So over the past weekend the framers got the roof up and all of the windows in to finish up their job. Today a new crew came in and started putting on the shingles. On Monday though there was about 1.5 inches on snow laying on the second floor. I spent some time in the morning shoveling it out, there was still a bit left over but now it is slowly thawing.
Over the biter cold weekend Travis and Glenn helped me put in 310ft of PVC conduit in the trench so I can get some power, telephone, and cable to the house. That was super helpful, and although it was freezing outside, the Steinackers filled us all up with lots of hot soup, coffee, and hot chocolate.
